Legend has it that in 1913, Thelma Eubanks, a wealthy New York socialite and gourmet cook, invented the flatbread, a unique crispbread made from only the finest ingredients.
When the raves started coming in, she served these flatbreads along with cheese platters, dips, salsas, soups and salads.
Soon after, Thelma created new flatbread varieties with delicious toppings such as Sesame, Garlic, Poppy, Everything and Pumpernickel Everything. The rest is gustatory history.
